Diamonds
Where The Name Came From:
Some believe that the name of Diamond comes from the Greek for
Adamas, meaning "invincible." But Hindu writers from an earlier time
state the stone has an origin with the Sanskrit word 'dyu'
meaning, 'a diety.' Dia, and Eastern goddess, is still called the
Diamond Sow, and her shrine in paradise, is known as the Diamond
Seat.
Diamond Facts:
Diamond is a native crystalline carbon that is usually colorless,
yellowish to white, or, brownish. More rare are the group known
as 'fancy color' of green, red (being most rarest of all) blue,
violet, brown, black and yellow. In quality gems, these can fetch
collector's prices. Diamonds are formed at a great depth at 50 miles
or more, and at 2012 - 2372 degrees fahrenheit under great pressure
by eruptions in the volcanic pipe.
All good gem Diamonds are free of inclusions, transparent, and
colorless stones. These gem quality diamonds are knows as White
Diamonds, and are extremely valuable.
Diamonds, being the hardest substance on earth, are also widely
used in industry, such as boring crowns, milling cutters, glass
cutters and grind wheels. This form of Diamond is called Carbonada,
ballas and bort. And this constitutes eighty percent of all Diamonds
mined. Only twenty percent of the diamonds mined are gem quality,
with half of that being lost in cutting and faceting. These type of
Diamonds are also used in scientific purposes such as measuring and
hardness tests. It is stated, that it takes an average of five tons
of mined rock to produce a single carat of Diamond.
Diamonds were first cut in the fourteenth century, but it took
until 1910 for a modern Brilliant Cut to develope. This Brilliant Cut
if a form of cut with numerous facets, bringing forth the Diamond's
special brilliance.
Diamonds In History, In Lore, and In Old Medicine:
The Diamond has played a major part in history, as it was a symbol
of royal power. In ancient times, the Diamond was regularly used as a
talisman against cowardice, and, was also valued as a stone to employ
invulnerability. Being bound to the left arm, Diamonds give victory
over enemies. It makes he who wears it bold and daring in his
transactions.
Some of the many powers bestowed upon Diamond through the ages are
as a defense against Evil Eye. It will make the wearer 'invisable.'
It was a cure for insanity, aided those troubled with Phantasms and
Night-Mare, counteracts the affects of poison, taken internally will
increase courage, and were sacred gifts from the universe because
they dropped from the sky.
According to the 'Speculm Lapidum' of Camillus Leonardus (Venice,
1502) the Diamond is reported to disperse vain fears; enables to
quell all quarrels and contentions; is a help to lunatics and those
possessed by the devil.
Diamonds tame wild beasts.
It also counteracts all socery.

The first distinct and undoubted reference to Diamond occurs in Roman
literature of the first century a.d. the Dimaonds known to the romans
undoubtedly came from India. Until the 18th century, India was the
only known source of Diamonds. In 1726 Diamonds were discovered in
Brazil, and in 1866 in South Africa, which is now the chief source of
gem Diamonds.
Diamond Trivia:
Genuine cut Diamonds are transparent to x-rays, whereas imitation
Diamonds, usually made of lead containing glass, are not. The most

Good Morning. I hope your weekend brought many happy shopping

Being today is my birthday, (the 17th) I would like to share with you
an alternative Birthstone for the month of December.
Zircon
Zodiac Signs: Virgo, Leo and Sagittarius
Element: Fire
Chemical Compound: ZrSiO4
Chakra: All
Numerology: 4 - Work. Know how. Intelligence.
About Zircon
Zircon is the alternate birthstone for December . Its name is derived
from the Arabic words "zar" and "gun", meaning "gold" and "color."
Zircon is a radioactive gem. Specimens contain radioactive thorium,
uranium or hafnium.
Zircon, in its unchanged natural crystal form is actually very dull
brown to yellow-brown in appearance. Gem quality transparent Zircons
are obtained by heat treatment of the stone, in tempretures up to
1800 degrees Fahrenheit. Zircon that is colorless is called jargoon,
dark red-brown is dubbed cryolite, reddish-brown colored is titled
hyacinth, and orange-red is known as jacinth, (two favorite stones of
ancient Arabs, and were mentioned in the famed book, 'Arabian
Nights'). Colorless heat treated Zircons have been substituted for
diamonds, only in appearance, with a brilliant fire that is almost as
dazzling as the real thing. The resemblance is superficial, However.
Zircon is quite brittle, easily broken with a well-placed knock, due
to the internal stresses in the crystal, caused by radiation damage
and heat treatment. Despite its frail disposition, the stone is still
highly valued because of its stunning beauty. Please note, that when
you are looking for a piece of diamond jewelry, visit a reputable
jeweler.
The Story of 'Starlight Blue'
A new blue color for zircon, endowed with spectacular brilliance,
called "Starlight Blue," was created in the 1920's by heating golden
brown or yellow zircon. The story goes upon discovery of the blue
Zircon, as Zircons are normally brown, George F. Kunz, the legendary
Tiffany gemologist, immediately suspected the blue stone had some
kind of trick involved. There were soon stones available in abundance
all over the world. Upon Kunz's request, a colleague made inquiries
during a trip to Siam (now Thailand) and learned that a large deposit
of unattractive brown zircon had stimulated local entrepreneurs for
experimentation in improving the color. Heating the brown zircon in
an oxygen-free environment had turned the dark material into blue
stones, which were sent to showcases worldwide. The market simply
accepted the information, and the demand for the new gems continued
undiminished, when the deception was revealed. This Starlight Blue
specimen, is the alternative birthstone for Sagittarius, with
Turquoise being the main birthstone.
Rare Zircon:
The most prized zircon is the beautiful red specimen, which is very
rare. The intense blue and sky-blue varieties are highly valued,
while the colorless, orange, brown and yellow stones are less
expensive, yet in demand.
The very rare green Zircon was among the stones of the 'Kalpa Tree'
of the Hindu religion, where it represented the tree's foliage. This
tree was a symbolic offering to the gods. Hindu poets of the 19th
century described it as "a glowing ensemble of precious stones that
also included sapphires, diamonds and topaz."
Zircon Sources:
Major sources of Zircon are the Palin area of Cambodia, the
Chanthaburi area of Thailand, and the southern part of Vietnam near
the Cambodian border. Bangkok is well-known as a major center for
processing zircons, where everything from heat treatment, cutting and
marketing is carried out. Another source is Sri Lanka, well known for
the colorless variety of zircon called the 'Matura diamond' mined
there. The gemstones are also found in Australia, Burma, Canada,
France and Norway.
Zircons In Legend:
Zircon was regarded as the Travelers Amulet in the Eleventh century,
protecting them from disease, and injury as well as assuring a
cordial welcome at their destinations. The gem was also believed to
hold magic powers to fight evil spirits. During the Fourteenth
century, zircon was popular safeguard against the great plague that
wiped out one quarter of the population of Europe.
To the wearer, Zircon was said to bring wisdom, honor and riches.
Zircons In Healing:
Zircon was once prescribed to insomniacs to induce sleep. It used as
an antidote against poison, and as an aid to digestion. Below is a
list of healing properites assigned to each color of Zircon.
Brown Zircon is used for grounding.
Colorless Zircon will sever any cording.
Yellow Zircon will attract love.
Green Zircon will help you draw in wealth.
Sky Blue Zircon will stabilize the emotions.
Red Zircon will heal injuries.

Ruby
Zodiac Signs: Leo, Scorpio, Cancer and Sagittarius
Element: Fire
Chemical Composition: Al2O3
Chakra: Heart
Numerology: 3 - Joy. Optimism
About Ruby:
Ruby is a form of the mineral known as corundum, which normally is
formed in colors of drab and grey. Red gemstone corundum is called
Ruby. All other gemstone corundum colors consisting of -- blue,
black, brown, colorless, green, orange, purple, violet and yellow --
are called Sapphires.
Ruby, is among the highly prized of gemstones. Due to large rubies
being harder to find than large diamonds, emeralds and sapphires,
Rubies' value increases with size more than any other gemstone.
The word Ruby is derived from the Latin word 'ruber', meaning
red. "Ruber" was once used to describe all red stones, including the
red spinel, the red tourmaline and the red garnet. Many famous rubies
in history turned out not to be rubies after all. The famed Timur
Ruby, given to Queen Victoria in 1851, was later found out to be only
red spinel.
Because of Rubie's rarity, there are very few famous large Rubies
to be known. Marco Polo relates the tale of a magnificent gemstone
in his 13th century books of his travels, as follows: ...believed to
be a ruby nine inches long and as thick as a man's arm, belonging to
the King of Ceylon. Kublai Khan, the Emperor of China offered an
entire city in exchange for the enormous stone, to which the King of
Ceylon replied, "I would never part with this prize for all the
treasures of the world."
Ruby Sources:
A major source of Rubies is Thailand, well known for their dark,
brownish-red rubies. The most famous source for the finest and rarest
rubies of all, known as "pigeon's blood," for the stones' intense red
color, is in the Mogok Valley of Upper Burma. Both Thailand and
Burma regard the Ruby as their national stone.
Rubies In Lore:
Ruby has a long history of myth surrounding it. It was believed
that Ruby could store heat, and when placed in water, that water
would boil. Instead of refracting the light of it's surface, it was
believed Ruby gave off their own inner light, declaring that no Ruby
could ever be stolen, for the Ruby's glow would be visible through
the theif's clothing.
Ancient Hindus, Burmese and Ceylonese cultures regarded sapphires
as unripe Rubies, believing that if they buried the sapphire in the
ground, it would mature to a rich red Ruby.
According to ancient Eastern legends, Rubies were once believed to
contain the spark of life -- "a deep drop of the heart's blood of
Mother Earth." Ancient Orientals also believed the Ruby was self-
luminous, and dubbed it the "glowing stone" or "lamp stone." It is
said that an Emperor of China would use a large ruby to light his
chamber, as it glowed as bright as day.
Brahmans, the Hindu priests of the highest caste, believed that
the homes of the gods were lit by enormous emeralds and Rubies. Greek
legends tell the story of a female stork, who repaid the kindness of
Heraclea by bringing her a brilliant ruby, and it was so bright that
the Ruby illuminated Heraclea's room at night.
Ruby In Ancient Medicine:
Once prescribed, powdered Ruby, when rubbed on the face, would
preserve the freshness of youth.
In the Middle Ages, Rubies were believed to bring good health, and
guard against wicked thoughts, amorous desires and disputes.
As a home and garden tip, if you placed Rubies at the outside
corners of your home, you would be protected from storms and worms.
Rubies were once prescibed to cure bleeding. And by turning
darker in color, it was believed that the ruby held the power to warn
its owner of coming misfortunes, illness and death. It is said that
the first wife of King Henry VIII, Catherine of Aragon, predicted her
downfall in seeing the darkening of her Ruby.
Sandie's Advice on Rubies:
However you view your Ruby, know that it is a love stone. Wear it and
fall in love. While meditating or concentrating with Ruby, fully
image your true love and soul mate character. Fall in love with
him/her before you two even physically meet.

Good Morning. I hope you had a fun weekend filled with love and happy
memories.
It is the special time of year, when I would like to honor the Native
American Culture, for their knowledge, their wisdom, their
spiritualism and their ancestory with:
Native American Culture Stones
Azurite:
According to Native American history, the Azurite has been honored as
a Sacred Stone. The crystals and nodule form of Azurite, has been
used to facilitate contact with one's spiritual (Indian) guide.
Azurite will also allow one to both feel the spiritual presence and
to understand any messages recieved.
Barite:
In Native American religion, it is stated that the Indian warriors
who have crossed from the physical world into the spiritual world,
returned at night to carve Barite Roses. Scattering of these roses
over a large area, was a physical message to those on this plane, to
know just where the warriors congregated the previous night.
Using the energy of Barite Roses in your meditations,
concentrations and rituals will enhance love. Too, the Roses give you
a message that any ancient hatred, has now been transformed into
love.
Catlinite:
This stone is actually a solidified clay-like mineral, that comes in
a pretty color of red-pink. This mineral has been used for hundreds
of years by many Native Americal cultures for Sacred Pipes and
facsimilies of fetishes (totems) used in sacred ceremonies as
protection and to enhance any skill one possess.
Concretion:
This specimen is a mass mineral found within a rock of a dissimilar
chemical composition. When a Concretion is cut open, a fossil tracery
will be displayed. The hollow and partially hollow Concretions
containing particles of gravel or sand, are known as "Indian Rattle
Boxes" and have been used for many ages in Native American and Native
African ceremonial events.
The non-rattling Concretions have been used in Native American
culture healing ceremonies.
Concretions are said to have the power to ward off venemous snakes,
increase one's physical strength and stamina, and to elevate one's
state of consciousness to that of visionary purposes.
Moss Agate:
For many, many ages, the Moss Agate has been used by the Native
American cultures as a Power Stone. This Agate has successfully been
utilized in the art of "Cloud Busting" and in helping the weather
patterns reach ultimate equalizing and/or balancing point.
Opal:
Opal has been extensively used by both the Native American Shamens
and Australian Aboriginal Shamens to invoke visions. These ceremonies
are called "Vision Quest" by The Native Americans, and "Dreamtime" by
the Australian Aboriginals.

that the Amber stone was made of solidified lynx urine. This is
related to the Chinese tradition that Amber was made from tiger
souls, entering the earth when that animal died.

throat maladies.

Amber was mixed with rose oil and honey and put into the ears as a
cure for infections and earaches.

Joke Time
Q: What is a vampire's favorite gemstone?
A: Bloodstone
Dragon's Blood: CINNABAR
Cinnabar, it's name coming from the Persian word for "Dragon's
Blood," is a mineral coming in colors of bright scarlet, vermillion,
cinnamon red to brick-red, are formed in crystals that are uncommon,
with the twinned crystals considered to be classics among collectors.
The twinned crystals in cinnabar are distinctive, forming a
penetration twin that has six ridges surrounding the point of a
pryamid.
Cinnabar is formed at low temperatures, usually near hot springs
or where there has been volcanic activity. It also forms in
epithermal veins, associated with opal, chalcedony and dolomite.
Cinnabar, mined for its mercury content by the Roman Empire, has
been the main ore of mercury throughout the centuries. Some mines
used by the Romans are still being mined today.
Chinese apothecaries, as for back as 3,600 years ago, made and
dispensed "Pills of Immortality" from Cinnabar. This is a puzzle, for
Cinnabar, a mercury sulfide, is very poisonous when taken internally.
Cinnabar occurs in Almaden, Ciudad Real, Spain, California,
Nevada, Oregon, and Texas. In California fine crystals of cinnabar
have come from the Almaden Mine in Santa Clara Co. and the New Idria
Mine in San Benito Co. Beautiful crystals occur in calcite at the
Cahill Mine, Humboldt Co., Nevada.
In Magickal work, it is stated that the Cinnabar will aid in
removing harmful elements in your life. It is best to place this
stone in between two black candles, and, be absolutely certain you
are willing to adhere to any neccessary action to be rid of people or
problems, before using this enchantment.
This is a good stone for taking back your personal power, after a
devastating situation, experience or event.
Good Morning. I hope this week will be a nice compilation of
happnesses for you.
This week's article is in honor of our heavenly counterparts. Please
enjoy reading about:
* * The Celestial Stones * *
Our Angels and Archangels, have assigned gemstones. Such lists were
based on the ancient custom of assigning gems to zodiac signs and to
the spirits that govern each of the twelve astrological months. From
these traditions arose the practise of assigning birthstones to the
months, or, signs of the zodiac. The list follows as:
Month Angel/Archangel Gemstone
---------- --------------- ---------
January: Malchediel - Ruby
February: Asmodel - Topaz
March: Ambriel - Garnet
April: Muriel - Emerald
May: Herchel - Sapphire
June: Humatiel - Diamond
July: Zuriel - Jacinth
August: Barbiel - Agate
September: Adnachiel - Amethyst
October: Humiel - Beryl
November: Gabriel - Onyx
December: Barchiel - Jasper
Stated too, in a more simpler form, is, all Archangels are
represented by Ruby. And all Angels are represented by Emerald.
* * Celestial Gems * *
Pope Gregory the Great, taking his inspirations from the forged
writings of Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite, created a list of gems
associated with the complete heirarchy of celestial beings.
According to Gregory:
The six-winged Seraphim (red skin) were represented by Carnelian.
Topaz stood for the Cherubim.
Thrones, represented by fiery wheels with wings filled with eyes,
were associated with Jasper.
Peridot stood for the Dominions, humanlike winged creatures dressed
in white albs with green stoles.
To the Virtues, Sapphire was assigned.
To the Powers, Beryl was assigned.
The Principalities (heavenly soldiers) were associated with Onyx.
Archangels are represented by Ruby.
And Angels are represented by Emerald.
Hello and Good Morning. I hope your weekend was full of good company and good

fabulous week. This week's article is about:
The Precious Peridot
Zodiac Sign: Virgo, Scorpio, Leo and Sagittarius
Element: Fire
Chemical Compositon: (Mg,Fe)2SiO4
Chakra: Heart
Numerology: 6 - Teaching. Humanitarian
Scientific Peridot:
Peridot is a gem-quality transparent variety of olivine, a mineral
composed of magnesium-iron silicates. The color of olivine ranges
from olive to lime green, sometimes with a brownish tinge. The green
color is due to the presence of iron, while the brownish tinge
indicates a higher iron content is present.
Peridot's Changing Colors:
Peridot's nickname is "Evening Emerald" because they appear a rich
green under artificial light, rather than it's usual yellow-green, in
dim light.
Peridot's Locations:
An island in the Red Sea, Zabargad, which means olivine in Arabic,
has been mined for peridot since ancient times. In some locations on
the island, fissures are lined with Peridot ranging from millimeters
to several centimeters. Beaches near the deposits have a greenish hue
due to tiny green peridot crystals.
Peridot crystals can be found in Australia, Brazil, Burma, China,
Kenya, Mexico, Norway, Sri Lanka, and in Arizona. Peridot has been
found in some meteorites also.
Peridot used in Healing:
Greeks believed it to bring royal dignity upon its wearer. In the
Middle Ages, peridot was drilled with a hole, strung onto the hair of
an ass and then attached to the left arm to ward off evil spirits.
Also stated, Peridot could alleviate viral infections and
appendecitis. It was prescribed to cure lung diseases, ulcers and
constipation.
The peridot was regarded as the symbol of the sun, since ancient
times. And in today's healings, Peridot can be used to alleviate heat
related issues. Place Peridot upon your forehead, close your eyes,
relax and let the it cool the stresses and tensions of your day.
The History of Peridot:
Peridot is among the oldest known gemstones. The "Topaz" stone on
the breastplate of Aaron, High Priest of the Hebrews in the Old
Testament, is believed to be peridot.
Egyptians, circa 1580 B.C. to 1350 B.C., created beads from
peridot. The Greeks and Romans, used peridot as inlays, intaglios,
pendants, and rings.
Peridots were a prized gem late in the Ottoman empire (1300-
1918). Turkish Sultans collected what is believed to be the world's
largest collection. The gold throne in Istanbul's Topkapi museum is
decorated with 955 peridots and there are also peridots used as
turban ornaments and on jeweled boxes.
The largest Peridot is a 310 carat gem that belongs to the
Smithsonian Institute. A 192 carat stone of fine clear olive-green is
part of the Russian crown jewels, in the Kremlin.
Peridot in my Stone Readings:
I don't happen to have a Peridot in my collection of Reading Stones,
but substitute it with Chrysoprase, which is similar in the apple
green coloring. And my representation for this stone is: A need to
return to Mother Earth. Sometimes, in our hectic lives, we need to
commune with Mother Earth - walk on her beaches, swim in her waters,
dig in the dirt, hug a tree. And when we allow ourselves to do so, we
can feel so much better. Stress free, burden free.
Hello Everyone,
I would like to send you a special email that started going out to
the public just today. I needed to gather my services into one area,
rather than having them scattered, so I can help many more people.
And a good friend of mine has created a wonderful website just for
a 'Very Special' service.
I would appreciate it if you would read the attached email, and then
send it off to those of whom are in need of help, or know of those
that know of those who need help.
Please take a moment of your time to light an Eternal Flame.
Thank you so very much for your time.
Sandie and Zsuzsana
Dear Everyone:
I would like to ask you all to help us in reaching out to anyone who
has lost friends or family in the tragedy of Sept. 11th. The numbers
are staggering - close to 7,000 lives have been lost at last count.
We want to help those departed souls and those who loved them.
Sandie Davis, one of our team of psychic readers at One Heart Oracle,
has offered to try and help these people by doing free mini-readings
to establish a contact between them and the departed souls. Please
read below.
A VERY SPECIAL GIFT
from our Psychic Stones Reader and
Psychic Detective *Sandie Davis*
Dear Friends:
We have ALL been affected, and many of us devastated, by the tragedy
of Sept. 11, 2001.
As we here at ArcanaMatrix have been trying to regain our balance and
look for the hope and enlightenment that may emerge among humankind
from the rubble that was created, we have been struck by a way we can
help in a concrete fashion.
Sandie wrote to me today ~ ' I would like to offer my services for
those who need to talk to family members that crossed over, if you
know anyone who is having a hard time with their loss, from all this
devastation that is going on. I would be more than willing to help
out.'
Sandie went on to say 'The world is calming down a bit from that
Tuesday, but...did you feel the sorrow, and all the range of emotions
these past two weeks? It has been hard to turn things off, when so
many on the other side are trying to tell their loved ones that they
are still loving them. You know Zsu, most all the spirits are sad
because they didn't get the chance to say good bye. That is mostly
their only sadness - not being able to say goodbye.'
When I read Sandie's words, I knew just what we could do!
From now until mid-October (tentatively) Sandie has most graciously
volunteered to give FREE mini-readings for those who have a
legitimate request and have either lost loved ones in this tragedy or
have otherwise been personally and directly affected.
The answers will be posted at ArcanaMatrix, and all requests will be
posted at the Arcana Forum so we can all join to send love, light and
healing to everyone who has been so tragically affected.
Visit http://www.arcanamatrix.com/tragedy.htm to email your request
for a reading. PLEASE - we can only offer this service to those who
have lost loved ones - please respect this guideline so that those
who are in the direst need can be helped.
For everyone else, please light a prayer candle at Eternal Flame:
http://www.arcanamatrix.com/eternalflames/candles.php
We all pray.
Peace on Earth,
Zsuzsana
*******Please forward this to anyone you can think of in hopes that
it may reach those it is intended to help*********

The Tiger Eye mineral is made of quartz with many slender

As the times would have it, the Emerald was a favorite stone for a husband to
give to his wife.

vital, soundness.

Dream Time
Have you ever dreampt of a jewel, stone, rock or a piece of jewelry?
Here are some interesting interpretations for those dreams.
To dream of jewelry is to hold dear to your heart a gift that
someone has given you. This could be a gift of friendship, a gift of
a smile when you were feeling low. It could mean something
materialistc such as a lover's ring, or a bouquet of flowers. On a
bigger level, perhpas tuition to a college you couldn't afford. These
gifts come in many different ways and come in many different types.
You will be the best judge of this dream.
To dream of jewels is very similar in interpretation to that of
jewelry dreams. Jewels mean you are keeping in your heart and mind,
things that you treasure. This could mean emotions, such as, you
treasure your ability to sooth and calm those in their time of
stress. Or, you treasure your ability to love other's no matter what
character they possess. Or perhaps you treasure your integrity, your
honesty, etc.
Your treasure might consist of a materialistic item you worked and
saved for a long time to own. Perhpas it is a many generation
heirloom, or the brand new car or home you've been wanting to
purchase.
Treasures come in many different types, styles, shapes, forms and
sizes. Something you hold dear, and might dream about, is your
special treasure, or as stated above, a gift.
-----
Color of stones have their own meaning. If you dreampt of a purple
Amethyst, its meaning is: healing. Perhaps you are in need of
spiritual, emotional, mental or physical healing. The Amethyst dream
will alert you to this fact.
To dream of the colorless Diamond could possibly mean you are
becoming greedy in your possessions. You can't see the color of
openheartedness and openmindedness. Or, perhaps you dreampt of the
diamond's hardness. This means your character is in need of some
softening. You've become too hard in your nature.
If you have dreampt of the beautiful green Emerald, you are being
made aware of your potential and growth. This stone is giving you the
encouragement for successful endeavors.
Opal dreams are telling you to become aware of your intuitive
powers. Opal's lights are showing you the enlightenment you will gain
when seeking your intuitive gifts inside you.
Dreaming of the white Pearl is a nice way of telling yourself that
no matter what happens, you will always come out on top. Pearl dreams
are like getting a welcomed pat on the back.
If you have dreams of Red Rubies, then you have been, or are in
need of, extending yourself to others. Perhaps you are giving too
much of yourself and dreaming of Ruby is a warning sign to think of
yourself now. Or, it could mean that you should prepare yourself to
be in service of others. Examples are: your comfort and kind words at
a funeral, or your smile and gentle touch after one's surgery. An
unexpected baby gift you crocheted, or reading books to children at
the library. You'll be the best judge of Ruby's meaning if you
chance to dream of it's rich color.
To dream of Sapphire's blue is very special. This jewel is telling
you that it is time for pursuit of a religious pathway. Too, you need
to expand on your thought boundaries. It is time for you to open your
mind and let faith and spiritualism in.
-----
If you have dreampt of a rock, or a rock cluster, this means it is
time for a reality check in your waking life. Perhaps you have been
living in a dream world for too long, or your imagination is running
away, or you are having paranoid thoughts. No matter, you need to
find a grounding point in your waking life, if rocks have come into
your dreams.
Have you dreampt of a sculptured rock? This interpretation means
you've experienced a rich, well rounded life. You are confident and
have healthy self-esteem.
If you have dreampt of tiny rocks or stones or pebbles, then you
are in need of the self-esteem mentioned above. You see your self as
an insignificant person - just another grain of sand on the beach.
Tonight, as you fall asleep, tell yourself you will dream of a
sculptured rock.
Dreaming of the weight or hardness of a stone is alerting you to
the fact that you have hardended your character. In some instances
this is for the good. Perhaps you needed a little weight in your life
so people no longer take you for granted. In a lot of instances
though, it is alerting you to the fact that you have hardened your
character and are in need of changing your nature for the better,
quickly. You will be the best judge of interpretation for this type
of dream.
-----
With the many books written about dream interpretation, some dating
back to the second century, many individual stones have been
mentioned and interpreted. The list is as follows.
Agate: you are going on a journey.
Amber: you are going on a voyage.
Amethyst: you will have freedom from harm.

Labradorite
The beautiful Labradorite, was discovered in 1770 and the name was
derived from its main source, the Labrador pennisula, St. Paul
Island, in Canada.
Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar, with uninteresting background
color of dark smoke grey, but does display a dazzeling iridescence
which gives the stone its value when lights strikes the stone from a
particular direction. Then, a play of rainbow colored reflections,
that being inclusions of rutile, ilmanite and magnetite, with colors
of peacock blue, coppery red and a dusky gold, similar looking to
that of an exotic butterfly wing, known as schiller,
or, 'Labradorescence' are displayed over the stone's surface.
Interestingly, the Labradorite, long ago had a property assigned to
it to symbolize the moon and the sun. Labradorite has in fact been
found in meteorites.
Labradorite has been assigned the property to assist one in ridding
of and to progress from the old ways. It encourages one to then
embrace new and exciting methods to attain your goals and desires.
Labradorite can too, help you to handle life's changes, promoting
strength and prerseverance.
Dubbed as the Matriarch of the Subconscious Mind, Labradorite
facilitates the transformation of intuition into intelligent
thought. It has been stated to be helpful in the treament of brain
disorders, stimulate mental acuity, reduce anxiety and also releave
stress. Wear this stone when you need to meet deadlines, or need to
be alert and focused for a long period of time. Labradorite will
assure you of not tiring out.
On a medical basis, Labradorite can aid in your digestion, regulation
and your metabolism. It is also stated that Labradorite can help the
eyes become clearer, focusing more easily.
Labradorite Trivia:
The Labradorite has been given the honor of representing the day of
Saturday.
Labradorite is associated with the zodiac signs of Sagittarius,
Scorpio and Leo.
If you dream of Labradorite, this symbolizes that you need to connect
with your spiritual and creative side.
This stone has the strongest effect when used on the fifth, sixth and
seventh chakras.
Labradorite pieces has been found among the artifacts of the Red
Painted People of the state of Maine, and date back before year c.e.
1000.
Gem quality Labradorite is named Spectrolite, and can be found in
Finland.
'Black Moonstone' is a nickname given to the black colorless specimen
of Labradorite.
Good Morning!
I hope all of you had a very nice weekend. Here is this week's
article. Please enjoy.

Many people have asked me what other stones could be used for a
suitable substitute birthstone. So I have created the list below.
If your finances are those where you can't afford a true

pale blue Calcite or dyed Quartz is suitable.

Citrine
Zodiac Sign: Scorpio
Chakra: Solar Plexas
Numerology: 6 - Home and Family. Humanitarian. Teacher.
Element: Water
Chemical Composition: SiO2 silicon dioxide
Natural Citrine is relatively rare. Many of the stones sold today
are artifically created by heating amethyst to approximately 900
degrees in Fahrenheit, whereupon it turns a beautiful golden color.
These Citrines show pale red, pale orange or warm bronze shades,
whereas the natural citrine is greenish-yellow in color.
The pleasing color and hardness of Citrine make it suitable for
cutting, faceting and making striking pieces of jewelry. Because of
it's abundancy, Citrine is relatively inexpensive, and can be offered
in both small and large pieces. Sometimes this yellow stone has been
misrepresented as the more expensive Yellow Topaz, under such names
as Madeira Topaz or Bahia Topaz. The name Citrine is derived from
the French word 'citron,' meaning lemon, referring to Citrine's
lemon color.
Citrine was not as popular as other quartz gemstones among the
ancient cultures. But it was used during the Hellenistic Age (323 -
380 b.c.e.) in Greece for jewelry pieces. And remained popular into
the first and second centuries in both Greece and Rome.
Medically, Citrine was carried as protection against plagues,
epidemics and venomous reptile and snake bites. Too, it was used as a
talisman for alchoholism, overindulgences, scandal, treachery and
evil thoughts.
Citrine has been assigned many properties for today's usage.
Because of its yellow color, the physical healing property of Citrine
will aid in all urinary troubles. It can reduce ulcer flair ups. It
is stated to be a good stone for tissue regeneration and detoxifying
all the bodies. It will aid in the promotion of good health to the
circulation, kidneys, heart, gallbladder, liver and instestines.
Due to the Citrine being a Quartz stone, it has the property of
bringing awareness, intuitiveness and enlightenment to the owner. Due
again to it's different color, of that of the evening sunset, healing
and balanced emotions are in store for the owner when Citrine is used
in meditations.
I use Citrine in my Readings to tell my clients that they need to
find information about a situation going on in their life. They need
detail and understanding to help them get through the ordeal or
handle the circumstances. Perhaps they will find the information
needed in a book, through a professional, looking within. Either way,
they need the information to guide them through their situation.
If you are in need of some guidance, meditate or concentrate on a
piece of Citrine. Listen to it's message. You will be guided to the
information you are in need of.

Good Morning and Welcome all, to the new Psychic Stone Sensations
Newsletter. I hope you have an enjoyable journey learning the many
properties and information of stones.
Being the Metaphysical World has chosen the Amethyst to represent
the Powers That Be, I would like our first article to talk about this
beautiful stone. Happy Stones to you all.
Amethyst
Zodiac Sign: Pisces, Virgo, Aquarius and Capricorn
Chakra: Crown
Numerology: 3 - Self expression through many artistic gifts and
talents
Element: Air
Chemical Composition: SiO2 with ferric Iron
Amethyst is a crystalline quartz colored purple by traces of ferric
iron. (One cubic foot of quartz can be turned into the amethyst
specimen, by as much iron as is contained on the head of a pin.)
Amethys is the most valuable form of quartz crystal, the deeper
purple being the most prized.
Throughout the ages, the Amethyst has long been a prized stone
for both jewelry, decoration, ritual use, and for it's most ancient
property, that being the prevention of inebriation.
The word "amethyst" comes from the Greek, amethystos, meaning "non-
intoxicating." The Greeks and Romans claimed when an Amethyst piece
was set into a goblet of wine, it neutralized the alcohol. Thus
creating continuing sobriety.
As reported by Camillus Leonardus, an Italian physician and writer
to the Borgias, the Amethyst was still prescribed to prevent
inebriation in 1750.
This following Roman tale is the story of the goddess Diana and the
god Bacchus, regarding Amethyst's origin:
The Wine god, Bacchus, was very angry because he felt
neglected by mortals. He stated that his lions would devour the next
human he came in contact with. A young maiden by the name of
Amethyst, crossed Bacchus' path on her journey to Diana's shrine.
When the lions began their attack, Amethyst's screams caught Diana's
attention, who then turned the maiden into a transparent rock
crystal. This action turned Bacchus penitent of his loss of control,
and, pouring wine over the pillar, turned the color from white to
purple.
Amethyst as a long history with religious practices. Inside the
Egyptian 'Book of the Dead,' are instructions for placing heart
shaped amethyst stones on a deceased body. The use of heart shaped
stones is practiced today, when a groom gives one to his bride,
confirming great happiness and tranquility in their marriage.
Other uses of Amethyst today bring properites of great
spiritualism, used by Seers, Mystics, Readers, and in magickal
rituals. Wear an Amethyst when you want to get in touch with your
intuition, your feelings, or your own values. The Amethyst has
remarkable influences of enhancement for your mind, your intuition,
and also your insight concerning practical things. Use Amethyst in
your meditations to lift your spirits, bringing joy and rejuvination
of your inner self.
Personally, I use my Quartz Amethyst to clarify visions and bring
details into focus.
Use your piece of Amethyst to clarify your images, and, to bring
your plans to fruition.
