Welcome to Productive Spinners!

This list has been created to help spinners become more productive and to celebrate their craft. We will help you focus on current projects, overcome obstacles, and build pride in your achievements along the way.

Do any of these descriptions sound familiar?:
- you love spinning but seldom complete a project.
- you have a closet (or house, or garage) full of UFO's (unfinished objects)
- you would like to further your craft by using specific goals to increase your techniques, styles, and skill levels.
- you would like to identify, discuss, and overcome your personal obstacles.

If so, you have found the right place!

The Productive Spinners list offers a structure that can make it easier for you to concentrate on your work. It is an action-oriented list with three different facets:
a daily discussion group, bi-weekly updated public listing of projects and progress, and limited mentoring.

1) The Daily Discussion Group

The daily discussion group is designed for members to discuss topical issues relating to their work, to evaluate their process, and their results.

2) Project Progress Updates:

This is a message that I will compile and send out bi-weekly to the group. It will record and celebrate your progress on specific projects. (Many people find these gentle deadlines are a helpful way to keep their projects moving.)

3) Mentoring

Some experienced spinners have agreed to help out as personal coaches for list members in need of individualized help.
