Re: Two questions

Do you have the Probe manual? You really should.
My manual is for version 5. Others may be off a page or two, but look
under settings for [U]tilities then [I]mport FCC Data. It shows all the fields
that must be present in order for Probe to recognize the file.

If you don't have the manual, you can copy and paste from other .csv files as
long as it has at least, these fields.

Field Name Type Description
FREQUENCY CHARACTER Frequency
CALLSIGN CHARACTER Call sign
DBA NAME CHARACTER Name
XMIT CITY CHARACTER Transmitter City
XMIT STATE CHARACTER Transmitter State
XMIT COUNTY CHARACTER Transmitter County
XMIT LAT CHARACTER Transmitter Latitude
XMIT LONG CHARACTER Transmitter Longitude
RADIO SERV CHARACTER Radio Service Code

They do not have to be in this order, but they must be present.

Your response and my lack of Excel experience prompted me to do a "save as CSV" search on RadioReference.com. What I found was astounding! It really couldn't...
