operations types on this list!
Lots of fascinating stuff on consists takes place on the passconsist list...

Thanks for sharing John. Really neat consists from my era. I love the
fact that each of the trains had a foreign car of "southern" heritage. I
would bet most modelers wouldn't put together a consist such as the real
thing, and I know at least I would never think to add a wood body caboose
just behind the locomotives.
Any idea why the southern foreign road cars were there? And why the
caboose went first, crew purposes?
I'm constantly learning new stuff!
