We are a laid-back group of flatwater kayakers and canoeists who regularly paddle up-and-back trips on the Upper Potomac River. We paddle year-round, and we usually put in at Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and paddle to Snyder's Landing. At times, we may also paddle from the Little Lagoon in Brunswick, Maryland, and paddle to Weverton. We are coed, of all ages and backgrounds, and we paddle for exercise as well as to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the People's River. All are welcome to join us on our adventures. The oldest and the youngest can successfully take part in this great outdoor activity. Novices and first-timers will especially enjoy our relaxed journeys, while enthusiasts looking for a good workout will also be happy to be a part of our group. All our trips have a First Responder who is trained in CPR. There is no cost to join our group or to paddle with us.
