Swing Dancing In Houston!

Welcome to the PotatoChips mailing list -- an informal discussion for Houston-area swing and lindy-hop dancers to find out where to dance, who's playing, and who will be there!

And no, we're not (necessarily) obsessed with crunchy snack foods -- PotatoChips is the title of an old Big Band song by Slim Gaillard that many of us know and love!

We try to keep the list friendly and light. While we don't want to see the discussion turn to "all business", we likewise don't want real dance news lost in the chatter. Use your judgment in deciding whether the whole group wants your reply ("I'll be there too -- how much is cover?") or whether it would best be sent directly to an individual ("Bob, I found your false teeth in the hot tub; still want them?").
