This group is for discussion of the problems faced by post-evangelicals as we find our faith becoming deeply impacted by Postmodernism. Faced with perturbing questions and doubts, we often find ourselves labelled, sidelined and discredited in our churches and isolated, not having anyone with whom we can safely unburden our hearts. So as well as a safe place to discuss all of our concerns, questions, new ideas etc., we intend this list to act as a support group for those desiring to keep Jesus central to faith, who are unable to feel entirely at home with any of the theological placings or identities whom other lists are already serving. A place for those who are experiencing the loneliness of never-ending tightrope walking between positions and who want somewhere where we *know* that our stance will be understood, shared and accepted. And a place too, where we can engage creatively in attempting to contribute to the unfolding drama in which we all find ourselves. The nature of such a group requires us to extend much grace and sensitivity towards one another. This sometimes requires a level of minimal moderation to protect the purposes of our community. Please bear with us at those times when you consider we 'get it wrong' or over-step in this area.
