This list supports non-punitive discipline. We consider spanking, time out and arbitrary consequences punishment. If you currently use these forms of discipline, but want a new way, you are welcome to join this list. We will encourage discussion on why punitive discipline does not work, but will not tolerate defense of its use.

This list is not strictly attachment parenting, but is very AP friendly and supportive. Its focus will be on children 1 or more years.
