POLITICAL ESSAYS
Latter-Days Exodus
`
`
Associated Press reports on the two-day meeting,
starting today in Riyadh, of the six Gulf Cooperation
Council members. [1]
`
Of the six, three are especially worried:
`
"The gulf states that are host to U.S. military bases _
Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar _ fear Iran could retaliate
against them [should The Superpower or its Proxy
physically attack Iran]."
`
`
That's one item. Here's another.
`
Under the headline "More Palestinians Flee Home-
lands" AP reports:
`
"Palestinians have emigrated in large numbers before
...but Palestinian government officials fear this is a
particularly strong wave."
`
Factoid 1: "...10,000 Palestinians emigrated between
June and October [this year]...."
`
Factoid 2: "...20 [businesses], including clothing and
plastic factories, have moved to Egypt or Jordan in
the past six months...." [2]
`
This exodus is not caused so much by the usual Proxy-
persecution as it is by something unusual. Word has
gotten round...
`
`
Iran's nukes are targeted first of all on The Superpow-
er's Proxy.
`
Then on its other military bases --Bahrain, Kuwait, Qa-
tar.
`
`
But Iran does not have any nukes!
`
But Iran does not have any!
`
But Iran does not have!
`
But Iran does not!
`
But Iran does.
