Description

The Polish Legacy Project in Buffalo-WWII was formed by a group of people dedicated to documenting and honoring the stories of Polish WWII survivors who settled in or passed through the Western portion of New York state in the United States.

This discussion group is open to these survivors and their descendants as well as other interested persons who have something valuable to offer on the topic of "The Polish WWII Story", life in Poland before and during the war, Nazi and Soviet deportations, as well as the lives of Polish displaced persons and their families in the United States.

We invite you to join in the conversation wherever you may presently live. Feel free to use this group to swap stories, seek help with research and language translation, post relevant articles, photos, links and other resources.

The primary language of this group is English. Posts in Polish are welcome. PLP in Buffalo-WWII is a member of and works closely with the Polish American Congress, WNY Division.
