This site is for Genre Writers of: Science fiction; Speculative fiction; Fantasy and Adventure Fiction. We are in our fifth active year. Our purpose is to help authors develop plots, beta read or critique work in progress, collaborate on writing exercises, exchange thoughts,experiences and examples. The group is monitored. No Spam, advertising or flaming is permitted. The site is both active and reasonable in size. If your style, prose or story ideas are already perfect, you likely don't need this group. You can post and discuss freely anything of concern to writers. All our private databases,links and files are open to the membership. We sponsor a linked-in live chat area and an internally distributed journal. Every member gets his own directory. Continuing membership is totally at the discretion of the moderators. Courtesy, activity, and tact are key to membership. Members interested in critiques must maintain a reasonable trade balance. We are not a posting place for distributed announcements though the presence of published authors for discussion, contribution, and networking is not discouraged.
