Playful Parenting is a wonderful book by Larry Cohen. He describes in his book an approach that uses giggles, rough housing and all around playfulness for parents to build a strong connection with their children, and even help their children heal the big or little hurt places that are an inevitable part of growing up. The Playful Parenting yahoo group is meant to be a forum where families engaged in playful parenting can swap games we have invented or tried and support each other in connecting with our children. It's a place where we can celebrate successes and what is going well, and also ask for help in areas that are challenging.
