We discuss collecting, repairing and restoring miniature plastic buildings and similar toy train / model railroad and scenery accessories. Discussions of other manufacturer's items (Littletown, Marx, K-line, Skyline, etc) are most welcome here even though the name of the list is "Plasticville" (a trademark of Bachmann Brothers). This list was started with the hope of networking plastic village enthusiasts worldwide, and to provide a venue for collectors to enhance their knowledge.

Almost all plastic village related posts are welcome here, e.g. collecting stories, wish lists, unique items, questions and answers, repair tips, resources, references, items for sale or trade, Internet links, etc. Although some "topic drift" is to be expected, the main focus of the group will be centered on miniature plastic items. Above all, everyone should enjoy themselves and have FUN!!

Personal attacks (flaming), profanity, ethnic slurs, and spam type advertising will not be tolerated. The sender of such messages will be warned once. On-topic, above board, commercial messages are OK so long as they are not over-frequent. In the case of spam (at the discretion of the moderators), a sender may be immediately banned from the Group without such warning.

Lou Lauderbaugh is this Group's Founder. He was moderator until his death in June 2006. The Group was unmoderated until Ken Klier, pvlionel, took the effort to work things out with Yahoo. Since January 2008, Ken is a moderator, recently returning to the Western Hemisphere. Mike Nickerson, michael4449, never left it. Pity him.
