James, Yes, I did. My husband took it directly in and put it in water. I also found the roots and he explained those as well. Glad you gave me the name,

Diane, I just remembered - did you find the Aucuba cutting? (The plant with the pale yellow-speckled leaves.) I'd try rooting it indoors in a cool spot. James
