PlaneSpottingCLT
A group for plane spotters around the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. CLT has plenty of airliner traffic and a fair amount of military action as well.











While most of the action is just run-of-the-mill USAirways traffic, every now and again spotters get treated to "heavies" of an unusual nature. This group aims to spread the word on good viewing areas, and alert subscribers about the comings and goings in and out of CLT and other area airports, in particular Maxton-Laurinburg (MEB) which has become an airliner graveyard of some interest.

IIRC, the idea was to open it for VFR traffic only as the ILS wouldn't be ready for a few more months (February or March?). Is that still the game plan, and if
