A group of people interested in kayaking the river and lakes of central South Dakota. The group is mainly for those wishing to get together occassionally to kayak the Missouri River near Pierre. But, the group is open to others wishing to paddle canoes or kayaks in central South Dakota. Those persons that will be visiting the area from the neighboring states (North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, or Montana) or elsewhere and want to join us, you certainly can contact us and we will share our information with you. There are some unique areas around Pierre that can be explored only with these types of watercraft. Or, you can get more adventuresome and go out on Lake Oahe and be challenged by bigger water, bigger wind, and bigger waves.
