that's a good point, I hadn;t considered that... I was still thinking of using it on regular voice repeaters, where a pause in voice audio would make that

OK, it's done... I'm using a Schmitt trigger input and a series resistor of 100K to protect the micro, in case someone goofs. Getting into the squelch circuit
