Physical Disability Australia Ltd is the national disability peak organisation in Australia representing the interests and views of Australians with a physical disability.

Physical Disability Australia is a not for profit organisation, registered with the Australian Taxation Office as a charitable organisation. Physical Disability Australia is managed and staffed entirely by people with disability. All Board Directors are people with a disability and nominated by members of Physical Disability Australia from each State or Territory and voted by members.

The purpose of this List is to discuss and share information, debate issues and spread information through networks, on items such as accessible transport, access to the built environment, accommodation, personal assistance, education, employment, equipment and issues of importance to the disability sector in Australia.

The rules of the group are simple,

* Treat everyone as you wish to be treated yourself

* respect the views of all members (You don't have to believe them, but respect them)

* no swearing or name calling or insults,

* do not reveal information on this list to outside persons without permission from the owner of the statement,

* Do not identify individuals without their permission

* Remove all but the email you are responding to ( in other words, no long trailing emails, only the one you respond to)

* There are no restrictions on what can be talked about.

* The statements on the discussion list are not necessarily the views of Physical Disability Australia Ltd.
