Membership requests to the PhillyScanner group require approval by the moderator before access. A email introduction to the list owner is required before approval will be granted - there will be no exceptions. The introduction must include your real name, a brief reason why you would like to participate, and if you are involved with public safety or the radio industry, the company or agency that you represent. The introduction must be sent to the list owner's email address at PhillyScanner-owner@yahoogroups.com

Any misuse of messages from the PhillyScanner group, including forwarding to outside sources with malicious intent, are grounds for immediate removal and possible banning from the group!

In addition, the list owner reserves the right to remove/ban membership access for the following violations: use of foul language, discussion of illegal radio activity, flaming and/or insulting members, and unrelated commercial spamming. Also discussions pertaining to sensitive communications, such as narcotics task force activities, frequencies, and talkgroups, are prohibited.
