This yahoogroups list is set up to inform the general public, community activists and volunteers working on the Philippine Festival, of the latest developments. This group list allows uncensored points of view and diverse agendas that are nonetheless compatible with a positive image of all Filipinos and the relevant concerns of Filipino Americans.
All posts are considered private and informal, and also do not necessarily reflect the official views or policies of the members of this group.
For now, the only "rules" for group members are as follows:
1. Discussion must be relevant to the Philippine Festival and all it's related community activities being held in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan and suburban areas.
2. Constructive criticism is okay, however, obscenity, profanity and/or personal attacks directed at fellow members may subject your membership to termination without notice at anytime.
3. You may use an alias, however, your real identity must be conveyed to the list owner so that we may verify that you are indeed a volunteer or member of the general public genuinely interested in this year's festival.
These rules are subject to change at anytime, without notice, by the list owner.
Remember, while constructive criticisms are okay, "flame attacks" are not. ;-) Post at will!
