The Pittsburgh Libertarian list is for communication for those interested in the efforts of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania (a.k.a. the James McFarlane Chapter), and libertarian ideas in general related to the delivery of libertarian ideology on a local level.

The list is primarily an discussion list to help efficiently accomplish the stated goals of the Libertarian Party of Pittsburgh as decided by its membership. It is assumed that the Party will use both Political and Social means to accomplish its goals, as stated in the LPPGH's mission statement.
