Description

This is a continuation of my Journal started in 1996:
Tax Freedom - a Personal Odyssey

Let's all get this straight.
I am NOT a tax protester!

I have studied the Internal Revenue Code.

Subtitle A imposes a tax on foreign and possession earned income
or upon the privilege of working for the government.

The Income Duty is a tax on foreigners doing business in the United States,
or on U.S. citizens working abroad in countries where we have a tax treaty.

The Public Salary Tax Act of 1939 as amended is the other piece to this puzzle.

Subtitle C imposes taxes to support socialism.
Citizens are not required to participate.

I agree with all of this, so there is nothing to protest.

Along the way, I have found many paths which dance around the real issues.
I hope this Odyssey helps you follow my same path without stepping into the same pitfalls.
I understand that many folks have a privacy concern.
Creating an account for Yahoo! Groups is very invasive.
They ask all kinds of questions to which many do not want to answer.
