This group is for individuals who are interested in being pen pals or writing buddies to children who live in a Christian orphanage in Tanzania, East Africa. The children are happy and excited to receive letters from children/people from the outside. Most of the children have been abused, given to the orphanage, unable to be provided for by their families, or have been abandoned. Some of them are ill.
It is an opportunity to find out and share what is happening in other cultures as well as helping the children to develop their writing skills and English. Last, but not least, becoming a pen pal or writing buddy is a chance to be a good friend.
