Park View is a subdivision of eastern Columbia Heights in the District of Columbia.
The north/south boarders include Park Place, NW and New Hampshire Avenue. The Southern boarder is Park Road, NW, and the northern boarder is Rock Creek Church Road, NW. These are also the boarders of ANC1A08.
Park View has a commercial district along Georgia Avenue, and is also accessible via the Georgia Avenue/Petworth metro station (green line).
Park View received it name because it is directly adjacent to the beautiful campus of the Armed Forces Retirement Home, also know as the "Old Soldiers Home". The Old Soldiers Home is the location of the only remaining home of President Abraham Lincoln, and it is also home to over 1,000 of our nations retired veterans.
