We really need to ask again of our pageant friends... Banner is being made today - anyone else want to join us in the FIGHT AGAINST CANCER? C'mon, you know you do!!
The tradition has begun! We held our first Relay for Life Photo Contest fundraiser last year - and this year, we are continuing the tradition and holding our Second Annual Relay For Life Benefit Photo Contest - 2011. We hope that in spite of the economy, we can increase cancer awareness and make a financial impact - however large or small it totals out to. We are keeping the fees at $10. for 3 photos and the same three categories that we had last year: natural snapshots - non pro, naturals - pro, and glitz/enhanced. This will allow for all to enter and make it affordable for all.
We do have some prizes on hand - tiaras, trophies, and some toys and such. But, we know that isn't what is going to draw the majority of the pageant community - we need to ask once again if our pageant friends will donate pageant and photo contest related prizes. Free and/or discounted pageant vending services, pageant entries, photo contest entries, etc. At the same time - the prizes donated do NOT need to be pageant related, at all. Please keep in mind that the contest will begin on February 9, 2011 and end on March 16th - with the winners being announced within a few days of that deadline - depending on the number of entries received.
We are hosting the contest on our PrettyInPinkRibbons website again this year. Like last, we will likely not post the entries publicly, but will send out a password for the contestants/parent to be able to see all of the entries during the judging period. We are doing this for their protection. And, we will have a prize page again with a direct link to the sponsors of the prizes.
If you are willing to sponsor/donate a prize for this year's contest, please let us know.
