We are a network of 130 professionals: artists, architects, teachers, graphic designers, writers, editors, publishers, exhibition coordinators, photographers, dancers, actors and professionals in related fields. We are allied to exchange business and academic information in the belief that knowing more about each other and our professions enhances our careers, as well as strengthens our positions in our respective professions and our leadership potential in the professional world at large.
The Professional Women in Art and Architecture (PWNYAA) is part of the Princeton Women Network (PWN) of New York City. This regional organization extends the alumni support infrastructure established by the University through organizations such as the Alumni Council and the Association of the Graduate Princeton Alumni. PWNYAA supplements this already potent support network, providing a special focus for participating women interested in the professional objectives of women in allied fields.
Members are kept up to date about the activities of PWN and the Professional Women in Art and Architecture via an e-mail distribution list, web page postings and newsletter mailings. A membership directory is maintained to serve as a database supporting effective networking possibilities. It provides an accessible information source about members with advanced expertise and specific professional know-how. Local activities provide opportunities for personal interaction and foster a sense of community, which is rewarding for all PWN members.
