People's Union for Civil Liberties, PUCL is India's oldest and the largest human rights organisation. For more than 20 years PUCL has sought to defend human and civil rights of people irrespective of religion, caste, language or national origin.
This list may also be used to post announcements of events and activities of the PUCL. This is intended to be a low volume list and we will limit posts to a minimum.
Photo: Grieving parents of Pardeep Kumar. Both are blind. On January 27, 2007 Pradeep Kumar, resident of village Cheeti, in Greater Noida belt died in Merrut Medical Hospital. The police picked up the boy two weeks ago from his home. PUCL investigated the circumstances leading to young man’s death.
