We are not a radio club but a Emergency Radio Service sanctioned by the ARRL.   We supply the Emergency Voice Data Communications when the power, cellphones internet go out of service.   We are on call 24/7 to the local hospitals, Red Cross and County OEM.   We also help at public service events, such as foot races, walkathons, parades and other functions.   We maintain our proficiency by doing on-air-training nets twice monthly and twice monthly meetings.
