Description
The Pinal County (AZ) Emergency Communications Group (PCECG) is the county branch of the national Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), sponsored by the ARRL. The group is composed of volunteer FCC licensed radio operators who volunteer their skills and equipment in times of emergencies. The group hones their skills by participating in county emergency drills and providing communications support to public events.
We are always looking for hams in the Pinal County area who want to join us and help develop a strong ARES support organization for Pinal County served agencies. Hams who live at/near Pinal Co. boundaries are welcome to join, as in any emergency your home QTH is not the relevant factor, but rather your willingness to help.
