The goal of this group is to teach the basics of Applied Behavior Analysis so that more people can learn and pass on the learning, of how we can effect change on the behaviors of our pet parrots.
This group is for anyone that wants to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis and how we can use it to teach and train new behaviors and to diminish unwanted behaviors. If you don't currently understand the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, I hope this group can change that.
This group will combine teaching with discussion with all training situations openly discussed. Whether you are wanting to learn how to stop screaming or biting behaviors, you want to teach recall to your flighted bird, or just simply trick train, I hope to be able to supply the foundation for your training plan.
The goal is to educate on using most positive, least intrusive methods.
This list will be a little more unstructured allowing for more comments, discussions and training scenarios without necessitating an actual problem.
To get more out of this group small lectures and quizzes will be sent and discussed. They will also be kept in the File section for anyone to review at their leisure.
I hope this will be a fun experience for all, and that we may all learn how to change behaviors, positively.
