This group's mission is, first and foremost, to lobby the Tacoma City Council and the local cable companies, Click! and Comcast, for public access television in Tacoma. It's unthinkable that a city the size of Tacoma has gone without it for so long. The city collects from each of the two cable companies a PEG (Public, Educational, Government) fee. Unfortunately, only the "Educational" and "Government" aspect are funded. The City Council can change this by voting on it. We can encourage them to do so.

Secondly, as the name of this group indicates, we are a repository of talent and ideas. Should public access in Tacoma actually happen, what kind of programs would you put on the air if given the opportunity? This is the place to talk about it.

We need to band together for this to work. If we are strong enough, and vocal enough, then perhaps we will finally get public access in Tacoma!
