PARA TU is the Panamerican Rainbow Alliance Together United. It is for gay and non gay persons to unite together in supporting the social, civil and legal rights of the gay, lebsian, bisexual, and transgenered (GLBT) community in Panama as well as those of their parents, friends and families.

The groups purpose is social, civic and civil.

Socially, we will have monthly dinners/luncheons to meet and greet and develop friendships.

Civiclly we will also be available to families and friends of GLBT persons to provide counseling, understanding and support as needed and requested. And we will provide speakers as needed to discuss issues facing the GLBT community in Panama City and throughout the country.

Additonally we will support various good causes including scolarships for GLBT college students, counseling for GLBT persons, support of the annual gay pride parade in Panama City and support of the Gay and Lesbian center here in Panama City.

Civilly we will support legislation protecting and expanding the civil and legal rights of all persons living in Panama and such other legal activities as might be appropriate for the group.

A Board of Directors will be formed to run this group and to supervise any fund raising events that might be held to facilitate the goals and objectives of the group and its members.

PARA TU is an all inclusive group. It is affilated with QPP which is intended as a social group for GLBT persons here in Cuidad de Panama.

PARA TU is a moderated group. All persons are welcome to join but any inappropriate posting or behavior will result in monitored messages or banishment from the group.
