PALS (Promoting Adventure & Learning in Students) is a homeschool support group that exists for the purpose of promoting hands-on learning and providing service and support to homeschool families in the St. Mary Parish (Morgan City, LA) area .

PALS supports the freedom of homeschooling to ALL families. We believe that every family has a legal and constitutional right to home educate in Louisiana.

PALS consists of an eclectic group of people of different races, ages, and Christian denominations. We are a Christian group, however, it is not required for membership (Those of us who are strong in the Lord, believe this to be our mission field.) We do have prayer and talk about Jesus as we are led.

PALS membership does require committed parents who believe that honesty and integrity are paramount; who observe modesty; and who respect Christian values.

There is no membership fee to be a part of PALS, and parents can join or exit the group anytime during the school year. HOWEVER, we do ask that you participate the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month (excluding holidays) with preparation, supplies, presentation, and attendance.
