i wish to recommend a pagan hard rock band from sweden called pagan, they have released two albums during the early 1990's. Their first album is called " pagan ", their second is called " the weight " and anyone who likes hard rock / hair metal from the 80's should do themselves a favour check out pagan. You're likely to find their cds on ebay.com and possibly at various online retailers and maybe at your local used cd stores and cd importers. I'm sure the cds are out of print now but shouldn't be too difficult to come obtain.
if anyone here has similar music tastes to mine I'd love to hear from ya.
regards Andrew

Thanks for the invite to the All Snakes Day, it sounds wonderful and truly I'd like to come, however I live in Germany... The snakes are forever in this Irish Faery Witches heart and feet, though I may not be able to be phyiscally in the US, the energy my dancing will bring on St. Patrick's Day (Spring Equinox - Ostara) will certainly be nothing to hissss at :) Ramblings-I've often pondered the plight of Magonus Sucatus (St. Patrick). It is too bad that his kidnapping at the age of 16 and subsequent captivity which led to his "religious visions" allowing Patrick to become aware of a rescue ship in France, thus freedom, was interpreted as a christian deliverance by him, rather then a Pagan vision from God/Goddess. It is too bad he spoke of the Trinity aspects of the shamrock as the father, son, and holy spirit, as opposed to the
mother, maiden, and crone, once again in general history, using the Old Religion to "convert the potientals" towards his savior faith. Why did he feel the need to drive the pagans (snake metaphor)into the sea to drown, and thus out of Ireland? Why did St. Patrick who died at 106 years old on March 17 493A.D. Embrace christianity? Poor shamrock to be a associated symbol with murders who bare crosses!I will wear the shamrock not as a signifying symbol of undying gratitude to the memory of St. Patrick and his most unholy acts of hate, I will wear the shamrock as the symbol of good luck, as the symbol of understanding the indisputable truth of Trinity to us Pagans and Druids.

Great site!
One of the real pleasures of travelling the festival circuit (as the Snakes hope to be this summer) is that we get to meet other musicians and dancers! A couple of bands that are not included here, but that I especially liked, are Rasputina and ...... hmmm, can't remember the name.... father/son duo......great on drums and good voices.
Anyway, maybe we can meet some of these folks as well.
