The main foundations of PAAO-US (website) are: (1) continuing the educational battle for public truth about parental alienation, but focused only in the USA. (2) openly recognizing and supporting shared parenting as the obvious answer for most situations in only divorce and divorce-like custody situations, due to the natural balancing and preventative effects of shared time with each parent, although supporting shared parenting has little or nothing to do with other types of parental alienation out there when there is no divorce involved, remembering that when a family court does its job correctly, an alienating parent will lose his/her starting point of shared custody/time with the child(ren). (3) identifying and promoting awareness of other types and situations of family alienation behaviors. (4) promoting the same Governor's Packages in support of Parental Alienation Awareness Day, April 25th. (5) promoting the similar, and even easier with law, Parent's Day Packages, at several/any level(s) of govt. (6) recognizing that arguments about "PA" versus "PAS" are essentially irrelevant, as the behaviors and effects are exactly the same, regardless of the other details, such as which one or both is recognized in courts here and there, or which one or both is recognized in professional circles here and there, and etc. (7) finding and hooking-in other PA/S people, geographically, to accomplish our public and private tasks (8) putting together the organizational paperwork and online structure to support the above.
