Pa-Unschoolers is an inclusive community with Unschooling as the focus. Anyone is welcome to join, and learn more about this fun and interesting way of learning. This means of course that this group is going to have all kind of homeschoolers as members. Friendly chatter is encouraged about any subject but expect that unschoolers will chime in and offer unschooling suggestions to help solve problems, since this is a group dedicated to the unschooling way of life. Please keep an open mind. Please also remember that for clarity's sake, unschooling has a definition on this list:

Imagine a universe where there was never any such thing as school. And there was never any such thing as learning benchmarks, or expectations that children learn certain things by a certain age. Imagine a life of summer vacation, all year round, with no worries that your child is "on grade level", "behind", or "ahead", or "gifted". Imagine just living each day as it comes, doing whatever you find enjoyable, learning whatever you bump into, knowing without a doubt that everyone learns what they need to know, when they bump into a need to know it. This can happen anytime, at any age, for any reason, and none of them are "wrong".

This is unschooling.
