Hello -

Blessings to everyone. I am quite new to the group and just wanted to introduce
myself. My wife and I have found ourselves being drawn "outside the gate" this
past year. It has been an interesting and sometimes painful adventure. We are
just now getting thru the withdrawal pains of it all.

We have been believers for many years. We have passed from denominational to
nondenominational, spirit starved to spirit filled. We find ourselves at this
point in time just looking for something real. We are tired of programs. We
are nauseated by "church" politics. We are hungry for more of the Lord and for
real relationships with His people.

During this past year we tried 3 or 4 times to reenter the system by visiting
other IC's. Each time the Lord said no! He finally has our attention. We have
found that there is a rather large group of people in our city who are also
"homeless". A few have come to the same place we have, others are wandering
aimlessly.

We recently started meeting with a very small group of fellow believers on
Wednesday evenings. We eat, we praise the Lord, we share. It seems refreshing.
The people we have been meeting with have experienced essentially the same
things we have.
