Exclusively for Christians who no longer find themselves within "the gates" of organized religion but who still love the Lord and desire fellowship with other believers.
Please Note: This group is intended to provide a general means of enhancing mutual sharing amongst brothers and sisters in Christ who have already experienced a full disconnect from "institutional" Christianity/organized religion - not a place for contentious controverting over "inside" versus "outside" mindsets. Outside The Gate is also NOT intended to be viewed as some type of "church" or "church substitute" and neither is it intended to serve as a platform for "prophetic" pontification.
The idea of "group" here is not to suggest an "elitist" mentality by refusing brothers and sisters in Christ who may not agree or relate to the "outside the gate" concept, but rather to acknowledge how difficult it can sometimes be for people who have been out of the institutional church system for some time to be able to connect and converse freely with others who do relate without entering into fruitless and bitter debates over "buzz words" and traditional religious concepts that are no longer in debate for them.
As moderator of this group it is not always possible to discern the motives of those requesting to join the discussion and that really isn't a responsibility I feel as being necessary anyway. Anyone is free to observe and participate in conversation, but be advised that posting outside the previously outlined parameters of the group's intended purpose may constitute a dismissal from the forum. Please respect others and remember mercy.
God bless and welcome! :)

"Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate, to consecrate the people by His own blood. Let us then go to Him outside the camp, bearing the reproach that He bore. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come." (Hebrews 13:12-14)
