This list is for the discussion of Medieval and Renaissance dance, as re-created and performed in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), specifically in the Kingdom of the Outlands (NM, parts of CO, WY, NE, TX). The SCA is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the Middle Ages and Renaissance. This list will focus on dances done in Western Europe through the year 1651, and issues related to researching them, re-creating them, and promoting their perfomance at SCA events in the area. People from other areas are welcome to contribute. No flaming or inappropriate language, please!
