The new National Capitol Region Out and Equal Affliate has just formed and will work to produce local educational and networking events in order to share best practices and discussions about important LGBT workplace issues. These events provide an effective way for Out & Equal to serve the needs of individual employees, leaders of employee resource groups, and human resources professionals beyond the annual Workplace Summit. The new Cap Region O&E Affiliate is seeking interested volunteers to serve on a local regional council, that will help coordinate and drive the affilitate's agenda and management for 2007, in preparation for the 2007 Annual Workplace Summit- to be held in Washington DC!
