Let us Give Thanks
Psalm 92:1-3
Psalm 92:1-3
It is a good think to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praised unto thy name,
O Most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morningand thy faithfulness
every night. Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the psaltery upon the harp
with a solemn sound.
Let us Remember to Give Thanks to the Lord with a Grateful Heart. Whatever you are going through today, remember that you don't have to go it alone and the Lord is aware of your needs and if you will ask with a faithful expectation, He will meet your need. If you have eaten today, you have something to be thankful for. If you have a roof over your head, you have something to be thankful for. If someone smiled at you today you have something to be thankful for. If you woke up this morning you indeed have something to be thankful for. While things are tough for many right now, and it is probably much easier to complain, let us search our circumstances and count each of our blessings and give our thanks. And let us remember the most important blessing the Lord has given us that we should be grateful for and that is His grace that caused Him to send His only begotten Son, to take our place and pay our wages of sin, so that if we will repent and follow Jesus, leaving our sin behind we will be spared from God's judgment to come. That is surely something to be thankful for each day. God bless you and may you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
