Follow up on "A Warning to the Church-
Regarding the Florida "Revival"
August 2, 2008

Surprisingly, I have not received any responses on the warning I sent out. I am hoping that is good news, meaning that all are in agreement. As on the web there is a lot of discord and people who seem otherwise so grounded in the Word are being taken in and writing their Christian brothers and sisters off in the name of this thing. I find that troubling to say the least. If you believed your brothers and sisters whom you supposedly love are in err and "missing out" on a "great move of God" wouldn't it seem natural for the response to be compassion and pity? Wouldn't you be prayerful? I'm sorry but HATE and CONTEMPT is not the Christian response, and in addition to the numerous Biblical reasons that this thing coming out of Lakeland is not of God but is indeed an example of the deceptions, Jesus and the Apostles warned us about that would be manifested by one who will appear as "an angel of light", in these last days, is the spirit of hate and contempt that comes flowing out of those who are being deceived by it. (aka The fruit is rotten.)

Who I find in possession of the Christian response, is those who do not endorse this thing going on with Todd Bentley in Lakeland, Fl. There appears to be much compassion, sorrow, concern and prayer happening on behalf of those who are being deceived.

If anyone out there is still kind of on the fence regarding this thing, I encourage you to watch this video. This IS NOT the Holy Spirit, this is a demonic manifestation. I wish, someone in the name of Jesus would be bold enough in the Lord to call the demon out of her.  Look at the people around... just sitting there like sitting ducks, with no evidence of discernment whatsoever. Does anyone read their Bibles anymore?

Warning: Turn your speaker down. Don't let these people speak into your ears. Demonic manifestation 1
Demonic Manifestation 2

The "minister" in both of these videos is Stacey Campbell.

Some think this demonic neck whipping is something to smile about.
(Look at the man (an usher?) standing behind the woman Stacey Campbell "imparts" to. This is not funny or entertaining in the least. This is tragic that a) it is going on b) it isn't being opposed by ANYONE there or anywhere. Some main stream influential ministries are opposing and voicing doubts quietly, but not speaking out in public. What is wrong with this picture?

I pray for a boldness that can only come from the Holy Spirit of God to rise up in ministers who have the influential power to make a difference, who know this is wrong, but yet hold their tongues. May God's grace be upon them and may He endow them with the boldness they need to speak out. Let that power of the fear of man be broken off of them, in Jesus name.

Please note, that I  won't be sending any more letters on this topic through the OFP Devotional, but I will be posting in our relatively new forum, so if you would like to, please visit us there. If you have any questions that you would like to pose to me directly, you may do so in the forum or you may email me at webmaster@... or at my personal earthlink address published in each of these devotionals.

My prayer is that this note finds that none of you have been roped into this. Jesus warns us that the deception of the last days will be so strong that if it were possible, even the elect might be deceived. (He says,"if it were possible" which does not mean it is not possible, as some believe and say. It only means,(as hard as that would be to believe or imagine.) In other words, it shouldn't be possible, but if it were not possible, Jesus nor the Apostles would have issued warning out to us. Jesus never did an idle thing or spoke an idle word. So, let us be sober and vigilant, having our armor of God on each day. Guarding our hearts and our minds and staying in the Word of God.

Love in Christ,
Valerie Chesnut
