A Warning to the Church-
Regarding the Florida "Revival"
Friends, by now you have heard of the "Revival" taking place in Lakeland Florida.
This is going to be the first of a series on this as I keep you informed.
Preserve your money, your gasoline and most importantly your souls, and do not come
here to Florida for this, you may leave with much more than you bargained for!
(and not in a good way)
I wish dear friends that I could give you a good report, I sincerely do! However there is much to
be concerned about. Now those of you who know me, know that I am not a nay sayer of the
power of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in ministry, I DO NOT believe that the gifts
have ceased operating by the power of the Holy Spirit through them who believe
in any way shape or form. BUT, the Bible warns us to "test the spirits and see
if they are of God" becase satan will appear as an angel of light and deceive many, an that
many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:
because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
Some people have deceived themselves into believing that all satan will do is lie.
Well, yes he will lie, and he will also perform miracles, signs and wonders appearing
as coming from God. He will do many things that "appear" good and "godly"
which is why he will be successful at deceiving many.
Matthew 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders,
to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
That there would be FALSE SIGNS and LYING WONDERS.
Jesus said that even the very elect would be deceived if that were possible.
(in other word, if you can imagine that, not that it isn't possible)
One of the first things that concerned me is when Todd Bentley (the "prophet") tells
how God told him NOT to preach Jesus but to teach about "the angel" an "angel" he calls
Emma. He says that when he questioned God about it that God told him that the Church already
believes in Jesus, but they don't believe in the supernatural.
This is the exact quote:
"Because Todd, you gotta get people to believe in the angel."
"God, why do I want to get people to believe in the angel? Isn't it about getting the people to believe
in Jesus?". and further claims that the Lord God said, "The people already believe in Jesus,
but the Church doesn't believe in the supernatural".
Would God command any of his servants to purposefully leave out the preaching of the Cross
of Christ the very Gospel message of Jesus? And why would God say, "because Todd, you gotta
get people TO BELIEVE IN THE ANGEL." ???????????????????
God knows better than Todd that not only do many IN the Church need to be evangelized
and hear the Gospel as there are MANY false converts IN the Church, there are also going to be UNBELIEVERS in the midst who ALSO need to hear the Gospel. And "believing in the angel"
sure isn't going to save any souls! The time is short and the laborers are few as it is!
And even the Holy Spirit directs us to Jesus Christ, taking no glory but now God is
commanding his servant to convince people to rather than focus on Jesus focus on an
"angel" and the "angel's" name is Emma? Who is it really that wants Todd to preach
the angel and not the Gospel of Jesus? hmmm?
Galatians 1:8-9
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which
we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if
any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Not to mention, this "angel" doesn't come from God to Todd...no he is "introduced to him"
by Bob Jones another known FALSE prophet who it is known that he had women strip naked
in order to receive a "prophetic word" from him.
Listen to Todd Bentley's testimony yourself here and be sober and vigilant, as your adversary
