The purpose of this group is to provide information about the Osmanli Naks-i'bendi Muslim Dergah and association. The Dergah is a place of worship and a center for learning the Islamic lifestyle. It was established in the name of Malik ul-Mulk, Sheykh ul-Islam Sheykh Sultan Mevlana Muhammad Nazim an-Naks-i'bendi al-Hakkani el-Kibrisi. His deputy, Sheykh Abdul Kerim al-Hakkani el-Kibrisi, established the Dergah in 2002 in Sidney Center, New York. The macam of Sultan Evliya GrandSheykh Abdullah Daghestani, may Allah bless his secret, is on the dergah property.
The program and the protocol at this Naks-i'bendi Hakkani dergah closely follow the model set by Mevlana Sheykh Nazim in Lefke, Cyprus (Kibris), with special attention on the lifestyle, discipline, and arts that are the heritage of the khilafat of the Ottoman Islamic Empire - "Osmanli".
Visitors, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, are welcome to participate in all activities.

In addition to the activities at the dergah, zikir and sohbet are conducted every Friday night inshallah at 7PM in the vicinity of New York City. The address is 940 Main Avenue, Passaic, New Jersey 07055. This is about 20 minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel.
Note: The spelling of our name is the Turkish form: Naksibendi Hakkani. The more familiar spelling for westerners is: Naqshbandi Haqqani.
