Description

OrthodoxWord is a forum for the communal study of Orthodox theological and spiritual texts. The Internet provides a wealth of texts by Orthodox authors and offers the opportunity for study and contemplation that was not available to earlier generations. This lists is dedicated to using those texts for deep reading and reflection.

The list is also for the purpose of sharing personal stories of conversion and spiritual journies as they are touched by Orthodox texts, or the lives of the saints and liturgy.

This list is unmoderated in the main but any deviation from the purpose of the list or any sustained negative commentary on any person or persons or contrary ideas that turns nasty will not be tolerated and the thread will be stopped at the discretion of the listowner.
