This group welcomes any parents with students currently enrolled or thinking of enrolling in a Connections Academy school program. Students attend school from home, but are not considered homeschoolers. They follow a Personalized Learning Plan under supervision of highly qualified teachers working in partnership with the student’s face-to-face “learning coach” – typically a parent, extended family or other responsible adult. The curriculum is accredited through CITA (www.citaschools.org) and aligns to state standards and combines print and technology in a developmentally appropriate way, delivered via a learning management system that ensures complete accountability.----This is a parent-to-parent forum, moderated by parents and Connections Academy.
