The Squaw Island Amateur Radio club located in Canandaigua NY is an active amateur radio group involved in emergency and hobby communications of all kinds.

Then this is the group for you !!

This group is intended to help those who may be new to the hobby or have questions about what we do as Amateur Radio operators.

You do not have to belong to a club in order to join in!
This group is open to all who have an interest in Ham Radio.

Please up load any photos or articles you have about Ham radio or subjects relating to Ham radio. Everyone who joins has full access to the group files.

Also keep the group informed about what you are doing with your own equipment and the contacts you make using the different modes of operation.

We also need to know what doesn't work as well as what does so if you are experimenting please make it public.

If you would like to plan an event or participate in event about Ham Radio please post it here. Remember size doesn't matter. If your a single operator we still want to know about your special event.
