Lake Spirit CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist PaganS) is an earth-centered ministry group affiliated with Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church (OBUUC) of Racine WI and a chapter of CUUPS Continental as an Interest Group of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA.)

Our mission is to share the collective wisdom of nature-based spiritual paths with the members of Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church and the greater southeastern Wisconsin community.

Our purpose is to facilitate a safe environment to explore, express, and celebrate all aspects of nature spirituality while sharing the responsibility to provide enrichment, support, encouragement and opportunities to learn and grow as a spiritual people.

We welcome everyone-from the curious to the "seasoned" Pagan to any or all of our gatherings! We do accept free will offerings that are tax deductible under our non-profit organization, that aid in costs of our website (visit us at www.lakespiritcuups.org) and other services.

As an Interest Group of the UUA, we covenant to affirm and promote the seven principles of Unitarian Universalism:

1) The inherent worth and dignity of every person.
2) Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
3) Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.
4)Free and responsible search for truth and meaning
5) The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.
6) The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all.
7) Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
