This GROUP is supposed to be a place that all can express their feelings whether it be negative or positive of all phases. Because we are talking about older children their may be ISSUES that may be discussed that may be difficult to read especially as a prospective adoptive parents. This forum is not SCARE anyone because children are children no matter where they are from. But again the point of this group is to support each other and talk about the issues that we have or may possibly experience.
Members can be prospective parents from many countries that are interested in adopting Older, Siblings, or Special Needs from Ethiopia.
NOT FOR ADOPTION AGENCIES!!!! Agencies will not be allowed to join this group. Employees of agencies who are also in the process of adopting from Ethiopia will be allowed to join as long as they maintain the confidentiality of this group. WHAT IS SAID HERE REMAINS HERE.
Remember that each family is expressing their experience either through hopes, concerns, frustration or maybe fears which is not to say that this will be experienced by everyone.
This group is not for anyone to make JUDGEMENT or CRITICIZE. This is a group of SUPPORT.
