Greetings fellow fighters and welcome to OldenfeldHFP (heavy fighter practice) group! Please let all your Oldenfeld rattan fighter pals and visitors know about the group.

I would prefer that this message board be limited to heavy combat information only. Membership should include those interested in heavy combat and actually participate in it. If you need to post something non-related, please use the main Oldenfeld group page.

When requesting membership, please leave your SCA and/or common name, your home group, and if you are a current authorized fighter.

Combat archers are also welcome to join, but space is limited for shooting on FSU campus. See the local archery marshal for more details.

Fight practices are usually held at Landis Green, across from the FSU library, every Sunday from 11 A.M. to ??? (usually 3-4 P.M.)

I have made this page in order to facilitate communication for heavy fighters attending our (usual) Sunday fight practice.

Participation in this group is not mandatory in order for practice to proceed or for a fighter to participate or show up. It is simply an effort to take a "roll call" and let active fighters know who else is going to show and when.

Check back often, and especially around Saturday evening. If you have to cancel your attendance, please re-post and let us know you can't come after all.

If no more than two fighters are attending or have posted, and you don't think it will be a productive practice and may want to cancel, please feel free to discuss it here.

Remember, the practice is only official if an official Marshal is present.
